Kitesurfing has it’s root in early 1980′s, when kite skiing and flysurfing first appeared. Approximately while doing so, inflatable kites where researched in France with the Legaignoux brothers. These were tested on water skis along with other watercrafts. They referred to as the sport Flysurfing. The inflatable kites on the Legaignoux brothers has been the idea for that first Wipika kitesurfing system.
